Balch Springs Fire Department mourns the loss of Pete Rose
January 8, 2010
It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Firefighter Thomas Dean Rose, affectionately known as Pete Rose. Fire Fighter Rose lost his battle with cancer on January 8, 2010 at the age of 48. Pete is survived by his Wife Tara and two kids. Pete proudly served the City, Fire Department and the Balch Springs Professional Firefighters Association for 14 years. His good nature, experience and devotion to duty will sorely be missed.
The Rose family and The Balch Springs Fire Department respectfully requests your attendance at Firefighter Rose’s funeral and internment. Class A dress uniforms and fire department apparatus would be greatly appreciated. There will be personnel to direct apparatus in parking and staging.
The funeral will be held at 13:00 hours on Saturday, January 16, 2010. The service will take place at the Trinity Church located at 1231 East Pleasant Run in Cedar Hill, Texas 75140. His internment will be at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 South Cedar Hill Rd. Duncanville, Texas 75137.
On behalf of the Rose Family and The Balch Springs Fire Department, we would like to thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Chief Gary Brown
